Founder, Adam Braun, was 24 years old on a global trip when he received the inspiration for this program. When he asked a young boy in India what he wanted most (a question he commonly asked children around the world), the boy replied "A pencil". This is the moment that Adam decided that he wanted to cure the global issue of education. PoP builds schools and classrooms in sustainable, self-sufficient areas. Not only are kids educated, but jobs are create for the local people in aiding construction. For $25, you can educate a child until they're 18!
Most donations came in small chunks, ($15, $20 - like Sygif!) but have made an astronomical difference in relieving the global education crisis.
